Mr Mwangi is the founder of Finance and Systems Consultants Limited, a firm founded out of the need to offer Financial Advisory services to Business Owners seeking to grow their businesses and positioning them for stability and growth.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from United States International University (USIU). He is a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) and Qualified Certified Public Secretary (CPS-K) with over 20 years’ experience in Finance and Accounting. He is a Capital Markets and Money Markets expert, with over 15 years’ experience in the industry, having worked for Dyer and Blair Investment Bank, Africa Investment Bank and Equity Bank in Nairobi Kenya giving him an edge in the Financial Services sub Sector in Kenya.

His career in Finance and Accounting inspired the founding of Peterson Associates, an Audit firm which he founded in 1993 and which has offered Audit and Tax consultancy services to a wide range of clientele.

He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), with good standing, and a facilitator in many of the Institute’s fora. He is also a member and a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK), with good standing and a serving council member.

Mr Mwangi is a seasoned communicator and facilitator, a choice facilitator for Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) seminars, workshops, and annual conferences. He has also undertaken training for the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries (ICPSK) and the Association of Charted Certified Accountants (ACCA).
